Dr. Thompson believes that life is to be enjoyed and that every effort should be made to minimize or eliminate pain. She offers a wide range of pain management alternatives.
Dr. Sandra Thompson graduated with high honors in chemistry in pursuit of her undergraduate degree. She then attended the University of California, San Diego for Medical School. She then furthered her education at Oregon Health Sciences University earning a Board Certification as a physician specializing in anesthesiology and pain management.
Dr. Thompson is on staff at both St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center and Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.
She is a fellow of the American Academy of Anti- Aging Medicine and is board certified in this field. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and is board certified by the Academy of Pain Medicine.
Alla Osipchuk, a board certified clinical nurse specialist, is duly licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse with a special focus on adult health and pain management. In 2013, she accomplished her postgraduate education degree from Idaho State University. Presently, she serves as a pain management specialist at The Pain Center, where she has been employed since January 2014
Susan is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who began her career as an emergency pediatric nurse, an experience that shaped her calm, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to adult pain management. She is dedicated to building trusting, long-term relationships and creating individualized care plans that support comfort, function, and quality of life.
Susan also speaks Spanish and enjoys connecting with a diverse community of patients. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her blended family, skiing, running in the foothills, traveling, concerts, escape rooms, and relaxing around a fire pit.
