Sciatica

This condition is a result from pressure on the sciatic nerve which causes radiating pain throughout the lower back and legs. This is usually caused when a herniated disc or bone spur on the spine presses on the nerve.

Rheumatoid Arthritis

This causes the body's immune system attacks its own tissue, affects joint linings, causing painful swelling and joint damage. Areas of pain include joints, back and muscle groups.

Neck Pain Conditions and Services

This injection relieves pain in the neck, shoulders, and arms caused by a pinched nerve (or nerves) in the cervical spine. Conditions such as herniated discs and spinal stenosis can compress nerves, causing inflammation and pain. The medication injected helps decrease the swelling of nerves.

During this minimally-invasive procedure, the physician uses heat from radio waves to treat painful facet joints in your neck. This procedure is also called radiofrequency rhizotomy. It can treat pain that doesn't respond to medications or to physical therapy.

Body Pain Treatments

We have arthritis treatment options at both our Boise and Caldwell locations. There is over 100 different types of arthritis, but all relate to the informal way to refer to joint pain or joint disease. It is the most common among women and occurs more frequently as people get older. Arthritis can cause permanent joint changes. These changes may be visible, such as knobby finger joints, but often the damage can only be seen on X-ray. Some types of arthritis also affect the heart, eyes, lungs, kidneys and skin as well as the joints.

This is a type of chronic, long-lasting, pain. In most cases, it develops in an arm or a leg that you have previously injured. With CRPS, you may have unexplained pain that won't go away. It may be severe, and it may spread.

We can provide this steroid injection at both our Boise and Caldwell clinics. This injection procedure is performed to relieve pain caused by arthritis in the sacroiliac joint where the spine and hip bone meet. The steroid medication can reduce swelling and inflammation in the joint. If the patient begins to experiences extended pain relief after a therapeutic sacroiliac joint injection, he or she can begin a physical therapy or rehabilitation program to further reduce pain and return the patient to normal activity levels.

This condition is an irritation or compression of one or more nerve roots in the lumbar spine. Because these nerves travel to the hips, buttocks, legs and feet, an injury in the lumbar spine can cause symptoms in these areas. Rheumatoid arthritis also referred to as RA, is an autoimmune disease that attacks the joints. It affects an estimated 1.5 million people in the US and currently does not have an identified cause. Rheumatoid arthritis causes inflammation of the joint lining (synovium), leading to damage to the joints. As with many autoimmune diseases, RA comes with flare-ups like waves of worsening symptoms that can come and go.
